EURegNews goals and objectives

At business partnering level:

Establish a European Business Association for the sector will offer training and capacity building, facilitating the exchange of experiences, newsroom and encouraging thematic collaboration. It will promote the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, such as video news broadcasting and documentary production. This association will act as the sectorยดs voice within the European Union and collaborate in diverse funding opportunities.

Projects aim to improve revenue models, management strategies, audience development, and marketing techniques. Creating common professional and technical standards, developing new newsroom types, enhancing distribution networks, or innovating content exchange methods among EU media organizations is the main focus of this project. Additionally, the association will support small organizations in achieving business readiness

At journalism partnering level:ย 

The project may encompass events, online training sessions, and workshops for media professionals, along with program exchanges and the creation of best practice manuals. It will concentrate on developing technical standards for the sector, producing practical guides, and designing and testing platforms and technical solutions to facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices. Promotional activities or other initiatives aimed at ensuring the sector’s sustainability could also be included. This application should outline activities to support media sectors that lack the resources to adapt to the digital environment.
